We don’t really have very good restaurants, especially for breakfast in Muncie crazy chick here doing a Google review before I go home to do my actual blog and review and I just want people out there who are looking for a good breakfast. This is the only place I would say that I would go for pancakes! They’re so delicious and fluffy. Biscuits and gravy were pretty good. I don’t believe the gravy was made completely from scratch but it’s really hard to tell unless you’re a cook. The biscuits were like fluffy wonderful omelettes are some of the best omelettes I have had. The hashbrowns are cooked to perfection. I want to see you this place stay here. It’s hard to find good restaurants here in Muncie. This is got an old diner kind of feel. The weight staff is friendly never had to ask for a refill or anything. The bathrooms are spotless and smell wonderful. Haven’t had lunch here, but looking at their menu and the pictures of people have posted. It’s probably one of the best restaurants we’ve had in Muncie in a really long time.

This is the hidden gem of a breakfast diner that everyone searches for. I am blown away by the quality of food & service. The serving staff wouldn’t let me see the bottom of my coffee cup. This is our new breakfast spot!

My sons and I were wandering in an unknown town and decided to eat someplace that was local. SUNRISE was the first place we saw so we stopped. The Cajun burger was good, but not alot of seasoning. The Muncie burger was very tasty. The guacamole burger was amazing. The habanero wings were excellent. Very glad we stopped in.

Food: It is unusual when the side items in a meal are the highlight, but that was the case here. My Popeye Omelette (bacon, spinach, mushroom and Swiss) was okay, but they absolutely nailed the hash browns and pancakes. Those two cafe staples are frequently mediocre at best. At Sunshine, they were flawless. Service: It started well and only got better. It's not every day that a request for an item that's not on the menu is met with enthusiasm, instead of trepidation or flat rejection. While milkshakes are on the menu in all the regular flavors, I am a particular fan of coffee milkshakes and asked if they would make me one. After a quick review of what ingredients should be in that and how to prepare one, my server rushed off to get the job done. All the staff were quickly intrigued and interested in my unusual request. The results were good for a first attempt. It only lacked a bit of coffee flavor which was resolved by my addition of some fresh hot coffee. Delicious! Maybe it will make it onto the menu and be a house feature. Decor: Gray and pink walls are an odd choice, especially with the yellow exterior. Gray and yellow walls would look perfect. Regardless, the interior is neat, clean and very open. The bathroom was serviceable. Nothing fancy, but the presence of flowing water, soap and paper towels was greatly appreciated. I look forward to returning here soon.

First time eating here . Food is fantastic, place is decorated awesome, Mady my server was Phenomenal! Great Breakfast place. Multiple employees asked if I needed anything.. Will have to try the lunch. 9/13/25

The Sunrise Breakfast and Brunch Cafe on Granville in Muncie is wonderful. This café serves a delicious Popeye omelet (spinach, mushrooms, bacon, and Swiss cheese). Also they have several varieties of Eggs Benedict. Highly recommend the Sunrise Breakfast and Brunch!

1st time there. breakfast was excellent. Lots of food. Very nice employees. Just 1 thing.... Have Coke products!
